The Section on Pediatrics is seeking speakers for SoPAC 2013 in Anaheim, CA, November 8-10. The topics we are most interested in adding to the program include:

• School Based Therapy:
  • 4 concurrent sessions related to topics, such as outcomes and measures related to school-based practice, documentation, methodology, payment for performance related to child outcomes
• Early Intervention:
  • 3 concurrent sessions related to EI models, bridging the gap between a direct service model to and the collaborative approach model, coordination of EI services with medical/clinical services, roles of therapists on the IFSP team and as providers (primary provider model or consulting and supporting others)
• General Topics:
  • 1 general keynote session and 3 concurrent sessions on such topics as accountable care, contemporary and future models of care, tests and measures, outcomes and documentation in multiple settings

However, all submissions are welcome. You may submit a proposal by completing the Speaker Proposal Form and returning it to SoPAC Committee Chair Cindy Miles, PT, MEd, PCS.

The deadline for submission of proposals is December 1, 2012. You should be informed of acceptance of your proposal by January 31, 2013.
